New Enhancements to App Academy’s Programs: August 2024

It’s been an eventful and exciting summer of updates, changes, and new additions to the learner experience here at App Academy.

In case you missed it, we recently updated our Part-Time coding bootcamp with improved flexibility, better staff support, and a revamped assessment process. The feedback thus far has been overwhelmingly positive, and we can’t wait for more learners to participate in what is now an even better experience than before.

We also updated our tuition plans so prospective learners can have even more ways to pay for their coding bootcamp education.

But the updates don’t stop there: we’re excited to announce three enhancements to the learner experience that demonstrate our commitment to providing cutting-edge education and support as you navigate your new career in the tech industry.

1) Redesigned Learner Home: Your One-Stop Learning Hub

We have reimagined Learner Home to provide an optimized experience from application to job placement. The new design focuses on delivering relevant information at the right moment, while still keeping important data like grades and attendance a click away. Here's what you will see when you log in:

• A cleaner, more easy-to-naviaget layout that will guide you to your next steps
• Centralized support features, including App Academy’s improved and enhanced support system (more on that below!)
• A comprehensive overview of the your progress (from application to job seeking)

This redesign also allows space for richer features. The following are a few of the features you can expect in the next 2 months:

• Live Sessions: Get insight into upcoming events like Office Hours and Lectures, and register for or join these events directly from Learner Home.
• Enrollment Guidance: This feature will help pair applicants with the program, start date, and tuition plan that best match their preferences. It will also provide quick access to contracts or invoices directly within Learner Home.

We are introducing the App Academy Support portal to provide a more centralized support experience. This portal features: 

• Live Chat: Get real-time support integrated seamlessly into Learner Home and our curriculum.
• Support Ticketing: Submit requests for help on various topics, from password resets to code debugging and job search assistance, 24/7.

The Support portal is located in the bottom right corner of Learner Home and the curriculum. These new support features will help ensure that learners can receive prompt, personalized assistance without interrupting their learning flow.
